Society for Longevity Science e.V. - Mission: STAYING ALIVE

The new scientific institution for longevity in Switzerland

With the founding of the Society for Longevity Science e.V. - Mission: STAYING ALIVE, Switzerland will become a center of scientific analysis and social dialogue on the topic of longevity. Our society pursues the goal of pooling scientifically sound findings from complex, interdisciplinary areas of longevity research and communicating them in an understandable way.

Our vision: knowledge-based empowerment

Knowledge-based empowerment is at the heart of our work. We want to process scientific findings and technological advances in such a way that people, companies and institutions can make informed decisions for their future. Longevity research goes far beyond simple measures to extend life - it touches on ethical, social and economic issues that challenge the foundations of our civilization.

Scientific excellence and interdisciplinary research

Our work draws on the latest research findings from disciplines such as biotechnology, genetics, neuroscience, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology and cell biology. These disciplines are at the heart of longevity research and offer important insights into the mechanisms of ageing. By linking these highly complex studies, we create a comprehensive picture that highlights both technological and societal implications.

The social discourse on the future of longevity

The extension of the lifespan has the potential to fundamentally change human society. Issues such as access to life-extending technologies, the impact on the way we live and work and the ethical implications of these developments are central to our work. As scientific and technological advances become more and more tangible, we see it as our task to promote open dialog about these profound changes and provide well-founded answers.

Our role: Scientifically sound and future-oriented

The Society for Longevity Science e.V. - Mission: STAYING ALIVE brings together leading scientists and researchers from different fields to conduct research on longevity at the highest level. We ensure that scientific evidence forms the basis of any discussion and help to advance understanding of the complex biological and technological challenges of our time.

Become part of the dialog

The Society for Longevity Science e.V. - Mission: STAYING ALIVE invites you to actively participate in the discourse on the future of longevity. Take part in our events, find out about the latest scientific developments and discover how this research could change society in the coming decades.
