Services

The Society for Longevity Science e.V. - Mission: STAYING ALIVE offers a wide range of services covering both the scientific processing of longevity research and its practical application in business, politics and society. Our services are aimed at companies, public institutions, civil society organizations and individuals who wish to learn about the latest developments in longevity research and understand their long-term implications.

Science communication

Longevity research has the potential to radically change the way we think about ageing. To make sense of these complex scientific findings, they need to be made not only accessible but also understandable to the public. Our approach to science communication is based on the concept of empowerment through knowledge: We want to empower people to make informed decisions about their health, lifestyle and future by communicating scientific knowledge in a clear and understandable way.

Our task is to prepare research results from highly specialized fields such as genetics, neurotechnology and biogerontology in such a way that they are accessible to a broad audience. This means translating scientific concepts into understandable language without distorting their complexity. By communicating research results clearly and precisely, we create a basis for informed, individual decisions.

Scientific advice and strategic expertise

We offer tailor-made scientific consulting for companies, institutions and organizations that want to deal with technological advances and their practical application. Our team provides support in evaluating the implications of these innovations and making strategic decisions.

Event organization

Organization of symposia, workshops and panel discussions to promote dialogue on longevity. Our workshops and training courses offer companies and organizations the opportunity to engage with the latest scientific findings and technological developments in the field of longevity research in a practical way. The seminars cover topics such as gene editing, stem cell research, artificial intelligence, nanotechnology and ethical implications.

Discourse initiation

Societal dialog and ethical advice: A central aspect of our work is moderating the public discourse on the ethical, social and regulatory issues raised by technological advances in longevity research. Our societal dialog platforms bring together scientists, policy makers and the public to discuss key issues such as social justice, access to technology and sustainability.
